What’s New for 2018

It’s a New Year 2018!  Do you remember 1999? Do you remember how  nervous everyone was- not knowing what could happen when the clocks and all computers clicked over to 2000? Now 18 years later…quilters are still going strong.
A New Year means planning what you want to do.  At The Old Craft Store we have plenty of suggestions and ideas for you.
Let’s start by introducing a new block of the month starting the 4th Monday of February, 2018.  “Shattered” is the project-  Only 5 months. Retail price is  $109.95 +tax (in Texas) shipping (if ordering) $15. Border and binding fabrics are included in the 5th month.

Another BOM project starts the 2nd Saturday of February is “Winter Village” by Laundry Basket Quilts. This is an 8 months program. Size is 53 1/2″ x 66″”.  Kit includes all fabrics, including 2 packages of laser silhouettes, pattern, and binding.  Backings will be available.  The fabrics are by “Blue Skies” by Andover. How about all those cute patterns by Elizabeth Hartman?  If you love them like we do, you will love this workshop.  Choose from Dogs and Sweaters, Deer, Whale, or Pineapple and just get out of the box and have fun!  The 1st class will focus on cutting and organizing only.  Class dates: Wednesdays, January 31 & February 7  6:00-9:00 p.m OR Friday, February 23 & March 2 10:00 a.m.-1:00 .  Class Fee: $35 per session.

Need plans for the week-end of the Super Bowl?  No you don’t need tickets for the Super Bowl but you can join us for  our “Super Bowl Sew-a-thon” on Saturday, February 3, 5:00-midnight and Sunday, February 4, 10:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. Class fee: $75  includes snacks on Saturday and brunch on Sunday.  Get away from all the football hype and “do your thing” at our Se-a-Thon.
