We recently had some really exciting news at The Old Craft Store!
We were selected by a prestigious National magazine, QUILT SAMPLER (basically this selection is equivalent to an Oscar!) for their Fall issue which will be available the 1st of September, 2009.
At the recent Quilt Market in Pittsburgh, PA. Better Homes and Gardens presented us with our official plaque. During the ceremony we had the privilege of meeting the other nine honorees that will share the same spot light.
Along with the profile of the store, a beautiful queen size quilt was designed especially for the occasion by TJ Tamny and Jackie Galubenski. We feel the name of the project and the fabrics are very appropriate for our store. 
The pattern is ―”Center of Attention”, and the fabrics are by Moda in blues, burgundies, greens, and beiges from the of collection of ―Blessings” by Jan Patek . The complete pattern will be included in the September issue.
On Saturday, September 12, The Old Craft Store will have a party to ―show off the actual quilt. During the celebration there will lots of activities to commemorate the occasion. So be sure and RESERVE THE DAY!
